From £18 per hour Gross

Days & Hours:

TERM TIME ONLY

Approx 20 hours Weekdays. 

  • Monday - Friday : 4.30pm - 8.30pm (3 days starting from 4pm at school gate until 8pm).

Approx 12 hours Weekends

  • Saturday - 6 hours
  • Sunday - 6 hours

There is flexibility for the role to be 1 position or split into 2 roles.

Essential Skills/Traits:
  • Minimum of 2+ years SEN childcare experience
  • SEN experience with ASD and ADHD
  • Strong communication and teamwork with staff, parents, and professionals
  • Effective behaviour management and child support skills
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting inclusion

Main duties/responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated, term-time support exclusively to B11.
  • Collect B11 from his school in Richmond.
  • Supervise homework and support learning activities.
  • Accompany B11 to after-school/extracurricular activities as required.
  • Plan and engage him in structured, stimulating activities that support his cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Implement and reinforce strategies from his psychologist’s behavioural management plan.
  • Support behaviour management, emotional regulation, social and communication skills, and executive functioning.
  • Provide consistency and focus to help B11 make positive choices and progress toward his targets.
  • Work collaboratively with the family and the full-time housekeeper to ensure a coordinated and supportive home environment.
